A betting company in the UK wanted to understand the high spend segment of bettors and evaluate bettors' exposure to the services offered by the client. During the three month study, the team researched the betting industry in the UK and prepared a questionnaire to be administered online through a panel survey. Thereafter, the collected data was analyzed and tested for pre-established hypotheses. The team carried out a segmentation analysis and developed different betting behavior profiles. The insights were presented as key actionable areas to the top management of the company.
Media and Entertainment Company: Customer Satisfaction Analysis
A global media and entertainment company needed to measure and improve customer satisfaction along the various stages of the customer lifecycle with the company. We were engaged for a three year program to understand the customer experience from acquisition to churn. The analyst team collected the data and evaluated customer satisfaction along various touchpoints and their needs along the journey. The analysis was then used to develop emerging trends in customer experiences and correlated with internal initiatives taken by the client to identify operational improvement initiatives to increase loyalty, identify revenue opportunities and improve overall customer satisfaction. The effectiveness of improvement programs initiated by the client (based on our recommendations) was tracked on a quarterly basis.
Consumer Products Company: Packaging Procurement
The client wanted to review its sourcing strategy for a key packaging sub-category. The Smart Cube conducted an RFI process to identify suppliers globally that could meet client defined technical and commercial specifications. The analyst team also conducted a detailed supply market analysis to identify important cost, pricing and competitive drivers. The final conclusions were used by the client for their global sourcing event.
Oil and Gas Company: Procurement Strategy
We assisted a global oil and gas major re-define its procurement strategy for rail car leasing in Europe. After the completion of the study, we presented our output to the client at their offices in the UK. Based on the recommendations, there was an internal revision of the procurement strategy which was expected to result in cost savings in the 8% to 12% per annum range.
