Delivery Model

Each corporation is unique and the needs of different functions within the organization vary quite significantly. The procurement function's need for research varies significantly from that of the corporate strategy function. Our strength lies in the ability to understand these differences as well as the organizational dynamics that drive the operating environment. In all cases there is a senior executive on-shore who manages the relationship and provides direction to the off-shore research team.

In the FTE model a client can retain an annual pre-determined FTE (Full Time Equivalent) capacity. A Point of Contact (POC) is established in The Smart Cube and all work from the client flows to the POC who gets the work executed by the most suitable analyst or team of analysts. The POC determines the skill set required for the task and allocates work accordingly. The POC is a senior analyst who is responsible for quality of the output and client interaction.

There is also a POC at the client side who co-ordinates research requests and manages the flow of work to The Smart Cube .

The FTE model helps the client tap into the different industry and functional capabilities of The Smart Cube .

We also execute business research on a project basis. This model is helpful where a client cannot forecast work requirements in the immediate term but is sure of specific needs that require analyst support. It is particularly helpful in crunched situations where The Smart Cube can rapidly add resources to reduce lead time significantly.

The Project-based Model is typically a Fixed Price Arrangement. However, where we cannot reasonably estimate the effort we work on a Time and Material basis as well. This model is usually combined with the FTE model to take care of spikes in demand.

In both models there is extensive interaction between the client team and the India-based analysts through email, conference call, webinar etc.
