Context and Scope:

Our Client’s objective was to develop an understanding of petrochemical logistics for multiple regions including Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The scope of the study included detailed analyses of petrochemical logistics supply chain including physical infrastructure used for transportation, warehousing, etc., as well as trends, drivers, market dynamics and future perspectives.

TSC Approach:

TSC conducted extensive secondary research in the selected regions to understand the market landscape for petrochemicals and the export / import situation and the key modes of transportation used. We also analyzed the technology penetration pertaining to logistics industry trends and key regulatory changes to highlight regional nuances. This was supplemented with focused primary research with industry associations, logistics companies, petrochemical companies, industry experts and analysts to plug in data gaps and supplement information gathered from secondary research.

Deliverable:

The final deliverable was a distillation of key research findings with country specific insights. The key findings were arranged based on regions, transportation mode, as well as future outlook.
