Business Development Research A large multinational company with operations across five continents and customers in 100 countries
Context and Scope: The client’s objective was to enter the renewable energy space in emerging markets. TSC was mandated to study various sub-segments in the energy space in order to determine which segment to enter and what entry mechanism to adopt. The final point of view was to be based on the regulatory environment, current competitive landscape, key end-markets and demand, and the grid infrastructure networks TSC Approach: TSC conducted extensive secondary and primary research on industry sources, specialized databases, industry news articles, and relevant company websites and press releases. The key players were identified in each sub segment to develop an understanding of the competitive structure, growth drivers, industry structure, entry barriers and other challenges in order to select the relevant segments to enter.
