Craft and The Smart Cube partner to support Procurement and Supply Chain Professionals with holistic view of supplier and market intelligence

18/01/2022

18 January 2022, London: Craft, a provider of best in class enterprise supply chain intelligence, and The Smart Cube, a global provider of strategic research and analytics solutions, have announced a new partnership to enhance access to supplier and market intelligence for procurement professionals.

The partnership will see Craft’s supplier intelligence platform, that aids discovery, evaluation and monitoring of suppliers, integrated into The Smart Cube’s Amplifi PRO procurement intelligence platform. From January 2022, registered Amplifi PRO users will be able to immediately and seamlessly access Craft’s supplier intelligence, creating a more valuable and actionable experience.

Last month, Craft and The Smart Cube were announced as members of the inaugural ProcureTech100 list of 100 pioneering digital procurement providers. The listing recognises the value both companies deliver to procurement teams challenged with a dynamic supply chain environment and supporting procurement to better leverage technology and digital capabilities.

Commenting on the partnership, which comes as both organisations have experienced growing demand from their respective customers, Craft’s CEO, Ilya Levtov said: “This means organisations seeking to strengthen visibility into their supply chain have complete supplier data at their fingertips with low-friction access, and no longer have to go through the struggle of securing and validating this data from multiple sources.”

Omer Abdullah, Co-Founder and Managing Director at The Smart Cube commented: “The Smart Cube is building an active ecosystem of partners to deliver even greater value to our clients. Providing relevant and actionable information to their desktops, through a single platform, enables more efficient decision making. So we’re delighted to be partnering with Craft and integrating their data into Amplifi PRO, as we continue to invest in delivering essential procurement intelligence and tools to the global procurement community.”

Seb Butt, Craft’s EMEA GM, believes that the partnership is a natural fit: “Craft has been supporting organisations in understanding all of their suppliers around the world. However, it’s key to also understand the context behind why a supplier is performing or behaving the way it is. If all of the suppliers in a given category are experiencing a drop in output then it’s understandable that your supplier, which is in that category, is suffering from the same market conditions. However, if your supplier is the anomaly that is trending away from its peers, then there could be a problem that needs attention. This is exactly why this partnership is so important because The Smart Cube provides this added layer of sector context alongside Craft’s supplier level intelligence.”
