Nomad Foods and The Smart Cube shortlisted in CIPS Supply Management Awards
London/New Delhi, 17 July 2018: The Smart Cube – an award-winning global provider of research and analytics solutions, has been shortlisted with its client, Nomad Foods, in the 2018 CIPS Supply Management Awards, under the ‘Best Process Improvement Initiative’ category.
The entry was for Nomad Foods’ “Cost-Conscious Mindset” programme, which was launched to deliver a step change in cost control and optimise fixed overhead spend including indirect and A&P. The Smart Cube was engaged from the outset to provide specialist procurement and analytical expertise.
The programme has been a strategic game changer in embedding on-demand cost visibility, intelligent budget targets and sustainable savings delivery. 18-months of cross-functional working delivered multi-million savings, improved EBITDA, and ‘fuel for growth’ investment into Nomad’s brands and talent.
