The Smart Cube boosts procurement intelligence solutions with latest upgrade to Amplifi PRO

31/01/2024

London, 31st January 2024: The Smart Cube (a WNS company), a global provider of strategic research and analytics solutions, has announced the next evolution of its market leading, on-demand digital procurement intelligence platform.

The latest version of Amplifi PRO empowers Procurement teams with faster access to category and commodity intelligence, comprehensive real-time analysis and AI-driven insights, and seamless integration for improved user experience.

The platform provides the foundation for The Smart Cube’s technology-enabled client solutions, along with the expertise and experience of The Smart Cube’s Category and Commodity Specialists, in a unique blend of ‘AI+HI’ (Human Intelligence).

The latest release boasts a host of features designed to provide clients with an integrated analysis of markets, custom insights and forecasts, and actionable intelligence in a digestible format that fits optimally into their daily workflow:

  • Expanded Category Intelligence solution coverage

    • Deeper category intelligence in addition to the existing 725+ categories, newly added high-tech categories include AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), augmented reality, digital twins, edge computing, metaverse, virtual reality and Web3.
    • Introduction of dynamic regional dashboards across popular categories enables faster and more informed decision-making, by arming Procurement professionals with the most comprehensive regional market intelligence to navigate their specific domains with confidence. The first phase roll-out of dashboards covers a curated set of popular direct and indirect categories, including almonds, clinical trial services, MRO, facilities management and IT services, with the addition of further categories anticipated in H2 2024.
  • Custom commodity intelligence, including three brand new modules, giving clients the option to access accurate and timely intelligence related to the commodities that influence their sourcing strategies and spend, above more widely available platform insights*:
    • AI Forecasting – providing commodity predictions and insights through AI-powered price forecasts and continuous news monitoring, consolidated into one intuitive platform and refreshed every four hours. Category Managers benefit from a streamlined approach to leveraging advanced analytics techniques and artificial intelligence for more accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
    • Cost Optimisation Toolkit – leveraging spend data and market forecasts to simulate price points and pricing strategies.
    • Event Risk Impact Mitigation (ERIM) – allowing Procurement teams to understand the potential impact of geopolitical, macro and natural events on their commodities portfolio in near real-time.
  • Improved accessibility, with all digital dashboards across categories and commodities now available to be consumed directly via clients’ digital platforms through APIs. Amplifi PRO data can now also be combined seamlessly with internal spend data, creating a unified intelligence hub accessible via clients’ own data platforms.

“In providing solutions for the evolving Procurement landscape, our ongoing commitment to innovation shines through. Amplifi PRO’s latest version gives Category Managers access to real time, comprehensive intelligence and analysis, drawing on AI and our Specialists, as well as seamless integration into clients’ preferred platforms. We’re not just keeping pace; we’re setting the standard for insights-led excellence in Procurement,” said Omer Abdullah, Co-Founder at The Smart Cube.

Amplifi PRO’s full database includes 1,500+ intelligence reports and dashboards covering a broad range of direct and indirect categories; price data for 9,000+ commodities; 9,500+ inflation monitors; and procurement decision-making tools.

*These updates are immediately available to new clients onboarded on or after 31st Jan, while existing clients will be migrated following consultation with their account team.

**Amplifi PRO’s freemium model gives users the flexibility to leverage procurement intelligence according to their specific needs through three levels: Essential, Professional and Unlimited.
