The Smart Cube announces senior hires to build upon growth trajectory following strong 2019
Company won 60 new clients throughout the year, and expanded share of revenue from burgeoning analytics business by 30%
LONDON – 20 February 2020: The Smart Cube, a global provider of strategic research and analytics solutions, announced today it has hired two senior procurement leaders as it prepares for business expansion on the heels of a strong 2019.
The company won 60 new clients throughout the year, expanded its relationships with more than 50 existing clients and built share of revenue from its analytics solutions by 30% year-over-year. Growth was driven by increasing client demand for data-driven business performance improvements, across procurement, supply chain, sales and marketing functions.
The Smart Cube also launched Amplifi PRO, its digital platform providing essential market intelligence and useful decision-making tools to procurement teams.
2020 will see The Smart Cube extend its position as a leading strategic research and analytics provider, bringing to market multiple new solutions – both widening its procurement and supply chain offerings, along with targeted solutions for functions including commercial, sales and marketing.
Hire of procurement industry veterans will build global sales muscle
Bucci will lead life sciences procurement sales in the U.S. as Vice President, Procurement Intelligence & Analytics. From her previous roles, including positions at Gartner, GEP and Aranca, she brings a long track record of market success, a wealth of experience and a strong understanding of the procurement intelligence landscape. Marcy was an initial executive at Beroe, where she led the rapid development of the business from start-up.
Masterson will bolster the EMEA procurement sales team with a focus on the CPG sector as Vice President, Procurement Intelligence & Analytics. He joins The Smart Cube from Beroe, where he played a key role in the company’s European business development covering strategy, direct sales activities, partner development and marketing. He has over 20 years of experience driving growth for a range of supply chain, procurement technology and services providers, including Capgemini, IBX, GEP and Tradeshift.
