12/08/2021

Analytics India Magazine’s PeMa Quadrant is an industry benchmark measuring key capabilities of leading Data Science service providers in terms of their penetration and maturity

London, 11 August 2021: The Smart Cube, a global provider of strategic research and analytics solutions, has today been rated on Analytics India Magazine’s (AIM) Penetration and Maturity Quadrant of Top Data Science Providers as a “Growth Vendor”, with the highest Maturity score of any firm in this category.

The company’s placement at the top of the Growth Vendor category recognises the significant volume of high value, advanced analytics work it is delivering to clients in the CPG, Life Sciences and Retail sectors – and is a progression from its 2020 Challenger position.

The report notes that in the context of a heavily competitive landscape, The Smart Cube has seen most of its growth from its existing customer base, therefore scoring well on Customer Confidence. The Smart Cube’s analytics team has built several client-specific dashboards, portals, and applications that produce high-value insights to optimise demand forecasts, market-mix segmentation, and more.

Sudeepta Chaudhuri, Head of Analytics, The Smart Cube, said: “We have invested significantly in our analytics solutions over the past 18 months – including building our capabilities in Digital Analytics and Data Engineering. It is gratifying to see this investment and hard work paying off with a strong listing in the Top Data Science Providers listing.”

Gautam Singh, Chief Executive, The Smart Cube, said: “The role of data and AI in the world is growing every day, and we see this evidenced in the volume and diversity of analytics work requested by our clients and prospects. Our analytics-led solutions help them address some of their greatest challenges, and I am very proud of the growth in this part of our business, recognised by Analytics India Magazine today.”

During the AIM assessment period, The Smart Cube launched its AI Lab, an innovative new experimentation environment designed to turn the latest advances in AI techniques into actionable business applications, and shone the spotlight on its value-adding data science work with leading CPG and Retail companies including Dole Foods and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.
